Top Ten Tuesday: Books To Pull You Out Of A Reading Slump

For me, short contemporaries will take me out of a reading slump. If I read a really long fantasy, like I'm about to do, I always go to a short contemporary afterward. I always have to sit and think about fantasy books after I finish them and they always make me stop reading.

I feel like something short and sweet will get me in the mood to read again. Which is why I normally tend to switch off reading fantasy and contemporary or romance.

This list is going to contain all books that I have read and that have taken me out of a reading slump. I hope you guys enjoy and can relate!

50 Bookish Questions

I saw this on Tumblr. It's one of those things you're supposed to reblog and some asks you the question. Well, I don't have any followers that will ask me any of these questions. So, I'm going to ask myself all of these questions over here on my blog! Fun times are ahead.

It's almost like doing a Myspace survey again. Throw back.

This took way too long to do. I feel dead.

This was supposed to be the night she proved he existed. So when she sees a cute guy waiting to pick up his sister, she enlists his help. The task is simple: be her fill-in boyfriend—two hours, zero commitment, a few white lies. After that, she can win back the real Bradley.

The problem is that days after prom, it's not the real Bradley she's thinking about, but the stand-in. The one whose name she doesn't even know. But tracking him down doesn't mean they're done faking a relationship. Gia owes him a favor and his sister intends to see that he collects: his ex-girlfriend's graduation party—three hours, zero commitment, a few white lies.

Just when Gia begins to wonder if she could turn her fake boyfriend into a real one, Bradley comes waltzing back into her life, exposing her lie, and threatening to destroy her friendships and her new-found relationship.

My Reading Habits Book Tag

I'm going to attempt to do a blog post every Thursday. Which is probably going to be some kind of tag. It may be book related, it may not be book related. The world may never know. Heck, I don't even know. I will always link where I found the tag. It most likely will not be the original post.

I found this tag from CornerFolds.

Some Things I Am Loving Right Now!

I think this is going to be a monthly installation on my blog. I feel like every month, I'm obsessed with something new. So why not share it with all of you lovely people?

I'm kind of in the process of making this blog more than just a book blog. I know that's not why most of you visit my blog. I just want more content and there's only so much you can do with a book blog. You could always just ignore my non-book related posts. That is 100% okay with me. I just want to be more interactive with everyone.

With that being said, I'm going to get into the things that I'm liking right now.

Top Ten Tuesday: Books You'd Mash Together

This week's topic is a hard one. I'm not entirely sure I'm going to come up with a lot of books to mash together. I'm going to do my best! Mashing up books sounds fun!

July Book Haul:

I got way too many books this month. This was not planned. I just cannot help myself. I have zero self control when it comes to buying books. Also, I apologize that you have to see my rug in this photo. I had to get further away just to get all of the books in one picture.

What books did you guys get this month?
